Our client, a key European player, designs, builds and operates projects for Energy transition and business digitalization in over more than 100 countries.
The Nordic Market is part of the Group’s European Branch. The Branch is growing fast in the Nordic market and has to adapt its structure into two divisions working closely to cover Sweden and the Nordic market.
CFO is heading one of the divisions and is responsible for the finance department and the overall administrative functions, including HR, reporting, financial statements in accordance with Swedish accounting standards and IFRS, tax and accounting issues, salaries and IT. CFO is in charge of a team from 10 to 20 people. He/she is in charge to control and manage the subsidiaries´ different financial functions and works closely to the CEO of the division to analyze potential acquisitions. CFO is also in close contact with the CFO of the other Nordic division and the Financial Director of the European Branch. CFO reports to the CEO of the division and is part of the Nordic Group management team.
The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
This work requires very good knowledge in finance, accounting, tax, project accounting, business analysis and consolidated reporting acquired in a similar position. Previous management experience is necessary.
Experience from internationally operating companies including international reporting is a requirement. Work experience from a similar business (project based multi structure environment) as well as knowledge of acquisitions is desirable.
Experience from consolidation and integrating teams of different cultures is an advantage. A desire to construct a united team and to accompany change is necessary.
Swedish and English is mastered freely in speech and writing as the group language is English.
